We do not exist to monetise you. The Marketplace derives its standing from the trust of its community, and we regard the unnecessary collection, disclosure, or exploitation of personal information as antithetical to that standing. Accordingly, we collect the minimum necessary to operate, and we treat what we hold as a liability to be safeguarded rather than an asset to be traded.

We collect only what is required for the Platform to function: (a) an electronic mail address, used solely for account recovery and essential service communications; (b) a username, which serves as your public identity on the Platform; (c) a securely hashed representation of your password (never the password itself); (d) wallet, balance, deposit, and transaction records necessary to operate Escrow and settlement; and (e) messages, listings, reviews, and support communications you choose to submit. We do not require, and do not seek, your legal name, physical address, telephone number, or government identification.

Information is used exclusively to: operate your account; mediate transactions and Escrow; maintain the integrity, security, and exclusivity of the Marketplace, including the auditing of registrations to deter fraud and automated abuse; communicate matters essential to your account; and comply with obligations genuinely imposed upon us by applicable law. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not subject you to behavioural tracking by third parties.

This is the heart of our policy, stated without equivocation: we do not sell, rent, lease, license, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information to advertisers, marketers, data brokers, analytics networks, or any other commercial third party. Given the exclusive and confidential character of this Marketplace, you should neither expect nor request that we surrender such information; declining to do so is precisely why we audit, curate, and restrict who is admitted. The only circumstances in which information may be disclosed are where strictly compelled by valid legal process that we are unable lawfully to resist, and even then only to the narrowest extent so required.

We employ reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including password hashing, encrypted transport, access controls, and the routing of all sensitive operations through our own secured infrastructure. Newly registered accounts are subject to an automated audit and a randomised activation hold; these measures exist to protect the community from spam, bulk account creation, and reputation manipulation, and they form part of our broader commitment to exclusivity and trust. No system is impervious, and you share responsibility for your own security by selecting a strong, unique password.

We use only the storage strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as dismissed notices). We do not deploy advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out and reset such preferences.

Transactions are settled in cryptocurrency to preserve the pseudonymous character of the Platform. We retain transaction records as necessary to operate Escrow and payouts, but we do not require you to link your on-chain identity to your civil identity. You remain responsible for the accuracy of any wallet details you provide.

Your electronic mail address is the sole means by which access may be recovered. We therefore counsel you to register with an address you genuinely control. The loss of both your credentials and access to your registered mail may result in the permanent and unrecoverable loss of your account, for which the Marketplace cannot be held responsible.

For Users who value heightened privacy or who encounter availability constraints, the Marketplace is reachable as an onion service. Access by this means is offered as a courtesy to the privacy-conscious and is subject to the same protections described herein.

We retain information only for so long as your account remains active or as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above. Upon termination, associated records may be removed in accordance with our operational and legal requirements. We may revise this Policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
